Fish Faces

The weather was not too good, so we went to the aquarium! And met lots of fish. The have good faces, and the aquarium lighting is very good for photography.

Above is a fugu, aka the pufferfish. This is the one which is very poisonous, and if it's not prepared right then eating it will kill you right there. Looks at its derpy face!

This is a grouper. It's not obvious in the picture but this guy is BIG.

Parrotfish.

This grumpy gem is a kinmedai, called in english Splendid Alphonsino. He is delicious.

It's a squid.

Lion fish.

There were a lot of jellyfish. I do not know their names.

And finally this weird guy. It's called a arapaima or pirarucu, it comes from the Amazon, and it is very big. This one was maybe two metres long!
