Otemachi Abstractions

My office is in a part of town called Otemachi. It's very central, near the imperial palace. It is entirely tall office buildings. I've been told that the population is literally zero: there are no residential buildings in the area.

Anyway, it makes for some striking photos.

The building that houses my office is called the "Grand Cube". This is the lobby. I feel like this might have featured in the 1989 Michael Douglas movie Black Rain. But probably not.

Nearby there is a square where food trucks are often found. Popular for lunch.

I often eat lunch on the balcony of the Cube.
